What type of life insurance should I consider?
Most people I meet don’t have enough life insurance and they are surprised at how affordable coverage can be. In many cases exams are NOT required. Some policies are Guaranteed Acceptance; No medical questions asked. When considering the type of policy to apply for you want to consider:
- Your Needs -how much insurance you need
- Your Budget -how much you can afford to pay in premiums
- Your Health -the healthier you are the less it costs
- Your Goals -what is the purpose of the policy and how many years will it need to remain in-force
We work with many A rated companies and shop to find the best coverage and rates.

(The link is also on my website under insurance center) Also I work with many different companies. Most apps can be done online or over the phone.
Term Life policies:
- Have lower premiums
- Can leave people without insurance once the original term ends. For example, a 10 year term policy is designed to last 10 years. After 10 years you would have to pay a very high renewal rate or shop for a new policy based on your current health condition which could difficult and/ or expensive
Universal Life (UL) and Whole Life (WL) policies:
- can last your lifetime with level premiums
- help fund retirement / Long Term Care / In Home Care expenses
- can be an excellent source for a future loan to yourself.
It’s better to act now vs. waiting
- Life insurance cost less if you are younger vs. older
- Your health could change (get worse) and make it more expensive
